Day - 1: Arrival

Arrive at the IGI Airport – New Delhi, meet and greet services at the airport and transfer to the hotel. You are accorded a traditional “Arti / Tikka welcome” at the hotel.

Day at leisure.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day - 2: Delhi

Delhi always remained the most desired city and changed hands often In 1803, the city passed to the British and remained with them till Independence. History spanning from 736 AD to the present year of 2004 - totalling 1268 years.

This morning we begin our tour with a full day sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi. We visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, the iron pillar which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted in 1500 years, the Bahaii Temple, The temple, built of Rajasthani Macrana Marble, is shaped like a blossoming lotus flower - surrounded by nine pools and walkways, the graceful Mausoleum of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and the modern day Birla Temple. Your tour will also lead you past the impressive India Gate, the war memorial to the dead, the President''s House which was once the Viceroy''s Palace, the Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings.

Lunch at a Local Indian Restaurant.

Second half of the day we take a tour of Old Delhi. The tour takes you through the 1639 AD Red Fort . The highlight of the fort are its Hall of Private and Public audience, domed and arched palaces; though the precious stones that once bedecked the marble facades are missing, the grandeur of the fort more than makes up for it. This if followed by the Jama Masjid - the largest Indian Mosque of red sandstone and marble. A walk through Chandni Chowk, remniscent of the bygone Era is the highlight of the evening. We return to the Redfort for the Sonet- Lumeire show- depicting Indias history through sound and light

Day - 3: Srinagar

This morning we Transfer to the airport in time for flight to Srinagar, arrive and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat. You travel to the lake point by car and to the houseboat by the local boat called "shikara".

Srinagar has been aptly described as a "Paradise on earth". Imagine living in a Cedar wood Houseboat with the silky waters of the Dal Lake whispering in unison with the lucid notes of nightingales and bulbuls .. Imagine floating shops on boats or Shikaras, laden with Pashmina shawls, delicate silver filigree and walnut work, fresh flowers and fruits - as they glide up your "doorstep". In the afternoon enjoy a "Shikara Ride"(local boat) on the Dal Lake - the Shikara has been specially decorated for you, in which you shall be rowed around leisurely - sipping "Khawa" -- - a special Kashmiri green tea flavoured with Saffron, cardamom and crushed almonds. Dinner on Board the House Boat .

Day - 4: Kashmir

This morning visit the "Mughal Gardens" - Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) which overflow with the fragrance of a myriad and rare flowers. The afternoon is at leisure. Feel free to tell you cook what you wish to eat....

Evening enjoy the Kashmiri Cuisine - "Wazwan Cuisine"- All the dishes are served in large platters and each platter is shared by 6 to 8 persons. Wash your meal down with "Kawah" or an alcoholic drink.

Day - 5: Gulmarg
Full day excursion to Gulmarg is 55 Kms drive . The place is famous for snow skiing during winter & best green Golf course in the country at an altitude of 2732 Mtrs. Packed lunch will be served from Houseboat .In the evening return to Houseboat . Dinner at Houseboat .

Day - 6: Pahalgam

After breakfast take an excursion tour to Pahalgam – 96 Kms, enroute visit the saffron fields of Pampore, Awantipura ruins – dedicated to Lord Vishnu, visit the banks of Lidder Stream in Pahalgam, later drive back to Srinagar. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the houseboat. Farewell to India as we take you the airport in time for your International flight - We are sure you shall be back again to celebrate the good times again..

Day - 7: Departure

Morning transfer to the airport in time for flight to Delhi Assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel. The evening is free for last minute shopping, visits or perhaps a quiet dinner at one of the speciality restaurant. Later transfer to the Aiport for your onward flight.
